On September 9–10, 2026, the 16th Global International Railway Transport Enterprise Development Summit, co-hosted by the Landbridge platform and the Landbridge Circle, was held at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center. Representatives from railway logistics, multimodal transport, freight forwarding, cargo owner, and supply chain companies—hailing from regions including Central Asia, Russia, Europe, Mongolia, the CIS, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia—gathered in the "Mountain City" to engage in industry discussions and business matchmaking.

The morning of September 9 will feature opening remarks, industry analysis, keynote speeches, and an awards ceremony. From the afternoon of September 9 through the entire day on September 10, multiple business matchmaking sessions will be held, covering the full industry chain—including international rail transport, sea-rail intermodal transport, road-rail intermodal transport, road freight, container transport, project logistics, hazardous chemical transit, border customs declaration, and overseas customs clearance and warehousing.

At the summit, operators of routes such as the China-Europe, China-Central Asia, and China-Russia railway lines efficiently matched resources with container suppliers, overseas agents, warehousing and customs clearance providers, and foreign trade shippers. With a pragmatic atmosphere that prioritizes actual deals over formalities, the summit has established itself as the premier annual platform for resource matchmaking within the international railway logistics community.

As a key hub for the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and the China-Europe Railway Express (Chengdu-Chongqing), Chongqing offers a rich array of opportunities for cooperation at this summit. Participants generally agree that international railway intermodal transport is shifting from a focus on "corridor construction" to "corridor operation," and evolving from point-to-point transport toward supply chain integration.

With the simultaneous advancement of multiple routes—such as the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway, the Trans-Caspian Corridor, and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor—the market for international multimodal transport continues to expand; leveraging land bridges as vital links, industry stakeholders will work together to build a more efficient and resilient global overland logistics network.
